Farmhouse Fall Door Decor

For a few days now I have seen several of my Instagram friends posting about putting out their fall decor. In Texas we have still had days with highs in the 90s, so it certainly is not fall-ish here yet. But I fell victim to the peer pressure today and decided to work on some farmhouse fall decor because I had a little bit a free time on my hands. And that my friends is a luxury!

After a quick, unplanned trip to our new Hobby Lobby I had picked up the few items that I needed for my farmhouse decor project. They were cheap, and all on sale so that was a big bonus! I don’t know if you are like me but I rarely will purchase anything from Hobby Lobby without it being on sale. Because as you may know, if you wait a week or two it will be on sale! I think that is one of the greatest things about Hobby Lobby!

So for this farmhouse fall door decor project I picked up a small-ish tobacco basket, and three sprigs of fall decor accents. I had the floral wire and needle nose pliers already so this was a super easy DIY. I spent $15 on this farmhouse fall door decor project and it only too me about 20 minutes from start to finish.

One thing I am thinking about adding since it is on my front door is a small wooden sign. I was thinking Welcome Fall or It’s Fall  Y’all or even just Welcome. I am not trying to over think it, I really just didn’t have the time to make one today. A nap was calling louder than the fall door decor because, I honestly think it is fine on its own.

I probably could have spent less on the floral accents if I had gone to the dollar store or perhaps stumbled upon the ones I had in the garage sooner. But one can never have too much fall decor, right?! What do you have planned for your farmhouse fall door decor this year?
